Local fundraiser offers stickers of well-known location
A grassroots fundraiser in Montevideo is working to raise funds for a splash pad project. A locally launched sticker series celebrating recognizable spots around town are now available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the development of a planned splash pad at Larson Park.

Montevideo baseball defeats WCA in double-header
Last week, the Montevideo Varsity Baseball team took on West Central Area at home in a double-header. In game one, the team took a 10-0 victory. Leaders in the game included Lathen Nipple who pitched six innings, striking out four, walking two and allowing four hits. Complete scoring follows:
